OH NO, I GOT THE ICK!

The first time I got the "ick" from him. I couldn't help but notice that every time that he stood still, his arms didn't lay flat???

They kinda of crept up like little dinosaurs arms. Judgmental, I know.

I told my sister. She shushed me for being mean and I felt bad but I thought it was funny!

One day, while on the phone I told him....

Babe? Have you ever heard of the ick?

Him being from France, he wasn't quite sure what I was talking bout. So I explained.

ME: "It's one thing that someone unconsciously does that you kinda get weirded out by that makes you not attracted to them".

HIM: "Okie?! This is weird, but okay?"

ME: "Wellll, there's one little tiny thing you do, and I'm not sure you know you're doing it, that makes me a little icked out."

HIM: "what's that?"

ME: "Your arms!" "they kinda stick up a little bit like a little dinosaurs"

HE THREW UP HIS HANDS AND SAID..... I was afraid I had set out off a bomb!

HIM: "I KNOW RIGHT?! It's so weird idk why my arms do that!" he felt validated, because he had thought the same thing about himself. We both LAUGHED SO HARD!

I continued to tell him things that I judged about myself... mine being... THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY FACE. yes you heard that right. I told him how I would go on dates and try to stay on the right side of guys because I didn't want them to see my nose from that side! 🤣🤣

Anyway, we just wrapped up Day 3 of Letting Love In Workshop for our Community and I wanted to share some things that have came up in the past three days.

Day one we identified some of the stories that came up when we are dating and the emotions that we're protecting ourselves from feeling.

SUCH AS 👇👇

Feeling of being Rejected

Fear of making the Wrong Decision

Feeling Abandoned from someone we love

The truth is feeling is the only way out is through.

When you allow yourself to feel your emotions fully without running away or procrastinating what comes up, you allow yourself to come back to your highest vibrational state.

Icks are the way our EGOs protect us from having deeper connections with potential partners.

Having a partner is not about finding the "perfect one" it is about learning how to love and accept someone for ALL that they are, including the ICKs. Now my favorite photos together are the ones with the right side of my face.

Are you up for the challenge of accepting your own "ICKs"?

With Love,
