I had only been in San Francisco for one month. At the time I was staying on my twin sister's couch.

I was scrolling on hinge, as one does, and I got a message from someone who had liked my profile first.

He's cute. Not dangerously hot, but cute! Maybe foreign?

We met at a restaurant in the Financial District and I arrived 10 mins late ( he made the 45 min drive to come to the city, he was still there earlier than me 🤭).

I could see him through the window. I recognized him right away. Not because of his photos. I recognized him because he was the only person in the restaurant sitting alone and he looked a bit nervous.

I didn't get butterflies, but I was excited to see where this went. I could tell right away that he was indeed foreign, but I didn't recognize where his accent was from.

DATE

No, but I'll give you another hint. It's a place in Europe that everyone wants to go.

ANITA.

Fuck, I don't know geography for shit! my answer after this hint was: SPAIN?

Nooo! *He through up his hands laughing in defeat.*

Paris.

ohh!!!

The rest of the evening went well. Nothing crazy special, just smooth!

Next went for drinks at a location afterwards. When we walked into the bar one of the servers came right up to me and said....

SERVER

Are you... Anita Aguilar?

I turned my whole body to look at him.

ANITA

Why yes! I am! Do you recognize me?

He had so much disbelief in his face! He had to recognize me from my podcast, TikTok, something!

SERVER

You dropped your ID on the ground, and someone turned it in.

My mouth dropped... WHAT?! I looked at my date and he instantly started laughing.

So this was our first date.... ONE YEAR AGO!

I'm giving you this story and more to come because there are so many things that I wasn't expecting when it came to manifesting a healthy relationship.

For the past five years I've done my best to heal my relationship with money. Understanding the value of money. The value of my time and how to ask for what I really want.

This period of my life I am learning how to take all the things I learned about manifesting money and applying it to my relationship with my partner!

It is work!
